Shuffleboard is a game that combines skill, strategy, and precision.
Players take turns sliding pucks down a long, smooth board, aiming to
land them in scoring zones. The goal is to score points by placing your pucks
closer to the end of the board while trying to knock your opponent’s pucks out
of the way.
It’s a fun game for players of all ages.
Stand at one end of the shuffleboard table with your opponent.
Flip a coin to decide who goes first and choose puck colors (e.g., red or blue).
Take turns sliding your pucks (weights) down the table toward the scoring zones.
Aim to place your pucks closest to the far end of the table without falling off.
Try to knock your opponent’s pucks off the table or into lower-scoring zones.
Complete a round when all eight pucks (four per player) have been played.
Score points based on puck placement: Zone 1: 1 point Zone 2: 2 points Zone 3: 3 points Hangers (pucks hanging off the edge): 4 or 5 points, depending on the table.
Only the player with the furthest puck scores points for that round.
Move to the opposite end of the table and repeat until one player reaches the agreed-upon score (e.g., 15 or 21 points).
For team play (4 players), teammates stand at opposite ends of the table and alternate turns.
